OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	It describes the concepts of disinfection and sterilization. Distinguishes different aspects from each other. It can decide for the material to be used on the appropriate method for the instrument category.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Course content covers the general principles of sterilization and disinfection of medical devices and instruments, Sterilization and disinfection methods (national / international), The importance of the effectiveness of disinfectants on microorganism, The problem of resistance to antiseptic and disinfectant substances, disinfection and sterilization policies.

- Sterile area, surgical asepsis principles / Hygienic, the use of protective equipment for surgical hand hygiene
