Objectives of the Course Unit: | It describes the concepts of disinfection and sterilization. Distinguishes different aspects from each other. It can decide for the material to be used on the appropriate method for the instrument category. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Course content covers the general principles of sterilization and disinfection of medical devices and instruments, Sterilization and disinfection methods (national / international), The importance of the effectiveness of disinfectants on microorganism, The problem of resistance to antiseptic and disinfectant substances, disinfection and sterilization policies. |
