OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To teach the relationship between diabetes and foot health and the problems seen in the foot as a result of diabetes.
Contents of the Course Unit: Diabetes and its systemic effects, causes of diabetic foot syndrome, mechanism of formation of diabetic neuropathies in foot, mechanisms of prevention of causes of diabetic foot syndrome I, surgical and medical treatment of diabetic foot injuries, algological treatment methods of diabetic foot injuries, effects of diabetic foot injuries on quality of life
