OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to educate graduates who can effectively perform tasks such as individual health records, health management, organizing and storing documents containing data about health institutions, including all kinds of scientific documents made in the field of medicine and health.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course covers Patient Rights, Ethics in Healthcare, Ethical Problems in Healthcare, Total Quality Management in Healthcare, Quality in Documentation, Medical Secretarial Training, Secretarial Services and Qualifications, Medical Secretary's Ethical Responsibility, Information and Document Management Systems, Document Retention Periods and Destruction. Methods, Importance of File Storage, Filing Methods, Medical Archives, Archiving Methods, Archiving and Security of Automation.
