OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Semiconductors. Diodes, diode applications (rectifiers, clampers, clippers, voltage multiplexers), special diodes. OPAMPs, op-amp applications (comparator, collector, extractor, integral and differential receiver circuit, inverting and non-inverting amplifiers, instrumentation amplifiers). The bias BJT BJT amplifiers. Voltage regulators.
Contents of the Course Unit: Characteristics of TTL and CMOS circuits and inter-connections. Introduction to Microprocessors, PLAs.
