OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to gain knowledge and attitudes about the functions of the structures that make up the cell, genetic material and related diseases. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Chemical structure of the cell, structure of the cell, cell organelles, cell membrane structure, Mendelian and non-Mendelian genetics, transcription, translation, chromatin and chromosome structure, cell cycle control, cell division polymorphism, DNA repair mechanisims, mutation, hereditary diseases, prenatal diagnosis and genetic counseling |
