OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	It is aimed to gain knowledge and attitudes about theoretical and conceptual thinking and expression about social problems, and critical expression and discussion of current problems.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Sociological imagination, sociological research, sociological theories and methods, globalization, social change.

Explain the basic principles of knowledge and science, explains the perspective of sociology and its relations with similar sciences.
Explains the historical development of sociological thought.
Compare the characteristics of modern and traditional sociological theories.
Explains the interrelations in individuals, groups and society.
Organizes the functioning of the reality that we call society and its institutions individually and in a mutual relationship.
Studies the method of scientific method and sociology, to be able to do information about theories.
