OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course includes a wide range of policy domains and aims to introduce students to key concepts in the social policy discipline in the scope of a human-rights-based social policy perspective. It also examines the current social problems in Turkey.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course depends on theoretical discussions on key concepts e.g. social help, social progress, social exclusion, poverty and so on. The discussions in class will be linked to child development practice approaches as well as human rights.
