OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of the course is to provide students with knowledge and attitudes about concepts related to child abuse and neglect, classification, prevention and reporting of neglect and abuse. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Concepts related to child abuse and neglect,
Precautions to prevent child neglect and abuse
Classification of precautions
How and where to report abuse and neglect cases,
Legislation considering child neglect and abuse
Family communication and abuse,
Types of child neglect and abuse. |
