OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to convey the social responsibility and ethical values that are needed today.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include the subjects such as the historical process of ethics, examples of professional ethics, the concept of communication ethics, the relationship between social responsibility and ethics, examples of social responsibility campaigns.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the ethical responsibility behaviour in the field of communication conceptually.
Distinguish concepts of ethics and occupational ethics.
Interpret the concept of ethics through the examples from the press.
Explain the importance of the concept of ethics in social responsibility campaigns.
