OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide basic knowledge and skills on camera shooting techniques.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include basic camera movements according to program types, rules of composition and differences of shooting techniques. Also, the camera and shooting technique rules explained in the course are reinforced with individual or group assignments. Group assignments are limited to max. three people. Students take a different position in the filmmaking process of each course or project assignment; In this way, they can gain skills that needed in the field in many ways.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Describe history of camera, technology and main differences between cameras.
Use camera techniques, composition, lens and lighting skills.
Apply the connection between camera, lighting and scene and management knowledge on these.
Prepare shooting by using knowledge on production stage.
