OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide students with the knowledge to learn their basic freedoms, rights and responsibilities.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include basic law concepts, concept of freedom of press, freedom of press in national and international texts, aspects and limits of freedom of press within framework of European Human Rights Court decisions, regulations and practices in the internal regulation.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Know about basic concept and terms of communication law.
Interpret legal texts on concept of freedom of press.
Discuss aspects and legal limits of freedom of press.
Discuss effectiveness of new legal regulations brought by the developments in communication technology.
