OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to give the students the ability to explain the concepts in the field of labor law and social security law and the ability to interpret the knowledge gained.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include, in the light of judicial decisions, the subjects such as employee and employer concepts; employment contract, drawing up and validity conditions; termination of employment contract; the rights and obligations of the employer and the employee and basic concepts of social security law.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

1. Remember the knowledge gained in the field of labor and social security law.
2. Define the basic concepts such as employee, employer, representative of the employer and the workplace.
3. Distinguish a validly organized employment contract.
4. Classify the insurance branches in this field in the light of the principles of social security law.
5. Relate what he/she learned with concrete cases.
