OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to improve aptitude for examining, starting from the pre-Islamic period, the transformation of elements of development and change in the history of Turkish administration under the effects of Islamic civilization, the civilizations in Anatolia and the process of Westernisation and the transformation of Turkish state organization in history. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include the subjects as in the pre-Islamic Turkish states, the effect of Islam in Turkish state organization, Byzantine and Iranian influence in Turkish state organization, Abbasid and Umayyad effect in Turkish state organization, Asian Type Production Style, Administration Structures of Seljuk and Ottoman, Ottoman administrative heritage in the early Republican period and the reflections of the Turkish-Islamic State tradition, organization and management structure of the state of Turkey. |
