OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to introduce to the tourism economy and give an overview to students about tourism economics and concepts.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes the basic concepts of tourism economy, supply and demand in tourism, effects of tourism sector on economy, importance of tourism in national economy.

Define basic tourism economy terms and principles.
Explain the effects of tourism sector on the national economy.
Evaluate the effects of economic factors on tourism industry.
Interpret the effects of tourism policy and tourism planning.
Analyze the relationship between income, employment, supply and demand, prices.
