OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to give the students the vision and awareness about the importance of natural and cultural environment for tourism, analysis of environmental components in tourism product and environmental protection practices in tourism.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes : The environmental concept, Air pollution, Global warming, climate change, Noise pollution, Flora and fauna, aquatic and forest ecosystems, Sustainable development and sustainable tourism, Environmental policies and tourism, Environmental savings measures in accommodation facilities, Environmental problems and tour operators.

Interpret related to the situation of global warming, climate change, aquatic and forest ecosystems.
Explains the environmental measures that can be taken for accommodation facilities and tour operators.
