OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge about the features of Turkish language, language rules, verbal presence in written and verbal texts, and spelling rules.
Contents of the Course Unit: Sentence Types, Incomprehensibility, Paragraph Expression Styles, Written Expression Types, Verbal Expression Types, Spelling Rules and Punctuation Marks.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Examines the types of written and verbal expression based on the opinions of researchers who have done research on Turkish Language.
Applies the applications to comprehend sentence types on sample texts.
Applies in-field and out-of-field information sources when writing academic text.
Classifies incomprehensibles on sample texts according to their types.
Judges the sample texts taking into account the spelling rules and punctuation marks.
Judges the sample texts with an academic perspective.
