OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with the ability to understand and apply foreign trade legislation and transport legislation.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as Turkish foreign trade legislation, export regime decision, export regulation, export notifications, import regime decision, import regulation, import notifications, standardization regime decision, standardization regulation, TSE legislation, legislations of highway, maritime, airlines and railway, international TIR legislation, sample practices.

Compare transport modes by remembering the basic information about transportation.
Analyze the historical development of transportation policies in Air, Highway and Maritime Logistics.
Analyze the historical development of the systems of transportation economies in Turkey and the current situation.
Analyze the inadequacies of transportation modes in Turkey
Analyze the international transportation strategies.
