OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin amacı; öğrencilerin Klasik mantığın devamı olan ve 20. Yüzyılda geliştirilen sembolik / modern mantığı ana hatlarıyla tanıması, önermeleri doğruluk fonksiyonu ve niceleme mantığı kuralları içerisinde denetlemesini sağlamaktır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Bu dersin içeriğini; önermeler kalkülünün kuruluşu, mantıksal değişmezler, doğruluk fonksiyonu tabloları, sembolik dil, doğruluk fonksiyonu mantığında denetleme, çözümleyici çizelge kuralları, çözümleyici çizelgeyle denetleme, niceleme mantığı – temel tanımlar ve kurallar, niceleme mantığında doğruluk değeri hesabı, niceleme mantığında çözümleyici çizelgeyle denetleme, tutarlılık, geçerlilik, eşdeğerlik, sembolleştirme ve denetleme konuları oluşturmaktadır.

Modern mantıkta sembolik dilin önemini ve gerekliliğini açıklar.
Doğruluk fonksiyonu mantığında önermeleri ve çıkarımları ifade eder ve çözüm çizelgesi kurarak bunların tutarlılığını, geçerliliğini, eşdeğerliliğini analiz eder.
Modern mantıkla sembolik mantık arasındaki farkı ayırt eder.
Niceleme mantığında önermelerin ve çıkarımların geçerliliğini denetler.
