OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide students to gain the knowledge to examine the current practices and research on various topics dealt with in the recreation area of mass recreation organizations to obtain information that can be viewed in the world and Turkey.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes; ethnic groups and free time, affirmative action and free time, women and free time, feminist approaches and free time theory, the disabled and therapeutic recreation, recreation for everyone, recreation, and alternative tourism, recreation entrepreneurship, public and public recreation, new in Turkey recreational areas and activities, new activities and recreation areas in the world, covers the earth and mass organizations in Turkey recreation examination and comparison subjects.

Defines concepts related to leisure time and recreation.
Explains the importance of recreational activities applied for groups with different characteristics.
Discusses new and current recreation activities implemented in Turkey, taking into account the needs of society.
Examines mass recreation organizations that are applied in the world and Turkey.
Examines current practices and research in the field of recreation.
