Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of lesson; To provide students with the knowledge and skills to apply the tests used to determine talent selection, evaluate the results of the data obtained from the tests, and make talent selection in order to direct individuals to appropriate sports branches. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Course content; It covers general concepts of talent selection, principles of talent selection, talent types, characteristics of talented athletes, prerequisites for talent selection, talent selection and principles in sportive games, talent selection methods and tests used in talent selection. |

Explains the principles of talent selection in sports. |
Examines the data obtained from the tests used in talent selection in individual and team sports and evaluates the results. |
Considering their structural and psycho-social characteristics, it selects talents to direct children and young people to appropriate sports branches. |
