OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of lesson; To provide students with information on preparing a training plan specific to individual and team sports.
Contents of the Course Unit: Course content; Performance concepts, Planning of long-term athlete training, Annual Training Planning, Planning of annual training for different age groups, Planning of meso-cycle and micro-cycles, Planning and implementation of unit training, Overcompensation in terms of planning (super compensation), load-rest relationship, strength training periodization, endurance training periodization, speed training periodization, planning and application of form training, planning in individual and team sports.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Defines the basic concepts of training planning.
Explain the importance of planning the long-term training process of the athlete.
Examines the training plans applied in individual and team sports and evaluates the suitability of the content.
