OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to learn the basic principles and design methods of reinforced concrete structural system behavior, and to design the dimensions and reinforcements of floors and foundations according to current standards.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course contains determining the dead, live, wind and snow loads acting on reinforced concrete elements and designing slab and foundation according to the current relevatant standards.

To be able to learn the dimensions and reinforcement drawing rules in reinforced concrete systems
To be able to evaluate the existing systems in reinforced concrete structures and make necessary improvements
To be able to understand the design principles according to earthquake
To be able to analyze the behavior of reinforced concrete system
