OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With the building materials course, it is aimed to introduce the basic properties of building materials, their production methods and their places of use in architecture.
Contents of the Course Unit: In this course, the relationship of the building with design and material is established. Insulation materials required for comfort conditions in the building are examined. It is aimed that students learn the relationship between various layers by examining the different materials that make up the building components and elements and their properties.
