OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
It aims to teach the rules that should be applied to an architectural project for earthquake-resistant building design by showing reinforced concrete structural members, systems and their design parameters. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
An introduction to the members of reinforced concrete structures and types of structural systems, examining the design parameters and points to be considered in choosing a structural system for earthquake resistant design |

To have general information on earthquake resistant design of buildings |
