                            Teaching students the basic knowledge about matter and ideas and concepts for understanding chemical changes; Explaining the basic structure of atoms, ions and molecules; Explaining basic chemistry and thermochemistry concepts and principles; To provide the correlation between basic principles & concepts of chemistry and engineering with their applications.
