OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, it is aimed to provide students with basic mathematical knowledge and application skills for solving mathematical problems.
Contents of the Course Unit: Evaluation of simple algebraic expressions, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division, use of separators, simple algebraic fractions / fractions; Graphical representation; properties and uses of graphs, equation / function graphs; Arithmetic terms and signs, methods of multiplication and division, fractions / fractions and decimals, factors and factors, weights, measures and conversion factors, ratio and proportion, means and percentages, areas and volumes, squares, cubes, square and cube roots.
