OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, it is aimed to give basic information about the phonological features, stress system, intonation pattern of spoken Turkish, to gain the ability to use the language effectively, correctly and beautifully in front of the public and to master the announcement systems used in aircraft.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course includes the topics of Voice Color and Tone, Stress and Intonation in Speech, Diction, Word Structure and Features, Speech Rate, Word Rate in Symmetrical and Hierarchical Communication, Importance of Diction, Rules to Consider in Diction, Announcement Techniques, Targets in Announcements, Reading Flight Numbers, Correction in Announcements, Points to Consider When Making Announcements, Announcement Types.
