OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To gain the necessary knowledge and skills about Safety Rules. Issues related to safety procedures that should be in the cabin in aviation activities are discussed. Applications are carried out in the mock up workshop.
Contents of the Course Unit: Smoke and fire procedures on board, oxygen, water and land evacuation rules, survival and high jack.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Understands smoke and fire management in aircraft.
Recognizes oxygen systems in aircraft and applies them in emergency situations.
Learns survival methods.
Learns bomb procedures on the aircraft.
Knows the applications to be done in case of High Jack.
