OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to teach students the fundamentals of logistics and supply chain; to provide the ability to build models and develop various techniques to solve supply chain and logistics problems.
Contents of the Course Unit: General terms related to logistics, Introduction to the supply chain, Relationship between logistics and supply chain, Members of the supply chain, Basic functions of the supply chain, Planning in the supply chain, Procurement in the supply chain, distribution in the supply chain, demand management in the supply chain, applications of the supply chain, in the supply chain inventory management, Outsourcing, Reverse Logistics.

Explains the basic concepts and theories in the field of logistics and supply chain.
Can conduct scientific and interdisciplinary research on the phenomena in the field.
Analyzes information and findings related to Logistics and Supply chain field and produces results.
Prepares written, visual reports, presentations and projects in Turkish and English related to logistics activities and supply chain.
