OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Within the scope of this course, it is aimed to define the concept of logistics, examine logistics processes and develop the relationship between supply chain and logistics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Logistics Concept and Scope, Historical Development and Importance of Logistics, Logistics Activities, Transportation Types: Airline, Seaway, Transportation Types: Road, Railway, Pipeline, Supply Chain Concept and Scope, Supply Chain and Logistics, Outsourcing in Logistics, New Approaches in Logistics , New Approaches in Logistics, Documents Used in Foreign Trade, Delivery Methods Used in Foreign Trade, Problems Encountered in the Development of the Logistics Sector in Our Country and Solution Suggestions.
