OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: With this course, the student will gain the competencies of collecting news and writing news according to their techniques.
Contents of the Course Unit: The course will be carried out with the definition of news and discussion of news value, news writing rules and news elements, news style, 5W1K rule, different news writing techniques and evaluation stages of the news.

Defines the basic knowledge and skills in news gathering and writing techniques.
Express how the media evaluates current events.
Prepares news with the information obtained.
Applies the necessary news gathering and writing techniques for different media texts.
