OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, the historical development of Internet journalism, its common points and differences with traditional journalism, the working styles and infrastructures of Internet newspapers are discussed.
Contents of the Course Unit: Learning the news production processes on the Internet; The internet, social media and journalism are examined and students are tried to gain a new perspective.

Comprehends the operation of the traditional and Internet-produced news process.
Comprehends the importance of instant news transmission and internet journalism.
Evaluate the reflections and contributions of communication technology solutions to society in a global and social context.
