Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to explain the types of interpreting and to inform students about the skills and strategies used in consecutive translation and interpretation from written text. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
This course provides information on interpretation, types of interpretation, information on interpreting from written texts, information on oral translation from speeches, oral translation studies from written texts, oral translation studies from speeches, listening exercises, oral translation exercises from texts related to the field of economics, texts related to science. It includes exercises for interpretation, translation exercises from legal texts, exercises for translating from sports-related texts, exercises for interpretation from written texts, general repetition. |
