| Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to develop students' vocabulary by examining the origins of words in terms of structure and meaning. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: |
This lesson is an introduction to Latin roots, prefixes, suffixes, prefix and suffix exercises, adjective suffixes, noun suffixes, verb-making suffixes, nouns and verb-making suffixes exercises, Latin words in English, English words including Latin words and foreign-origined vocabulary exercises. |
