OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
Students will be able to read and and analyse audio-visual texts for translation and translate said texts with the use of computer software. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
This course introduces the characteristics of audio-visual texts and a basic understanding of the software necessary fort he translation of these texts. |

Student will be able to define the elements of audio-visual texts. |
Student will be able to categorize the translation methods for audio-visual texts. |
Student will be able to compares different translation methods for audio-visual translation. |
Student will be able to familiarize with the necessary hardware and software required for the computer-aided translation of audio-visual texts. |
