OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge about the quality audits of health institutions, to measure, to improve the service quality and to provide quality awareness.
Contents of the Course Unit: Quality concept in health services, quality characteristics, quality control, quality assurance and systems, total quality management.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Examine quality assurance and systems.
Explain the types of quality and the factors affecting quality.
Explains the restructuring of processes.
Compare quality improvement techniques.
Arrange the plan required for internal and external audit.
Measures the prepared processes through internal and external audit.
Evaluates quality improvement activities.
