OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain basic concepts related to social and emotional development, theories about social emotional development, factors affecting social and emotional development, knowledge and attitudes about social emotional development according to ages.
Contents of the Course Unit: Social and emotional development from birth to adolescence, basic concepts of social and emotional development, theories about social and emotional development, factors affecting social and emotional development, social emotional development according to ages, socialization and social interaction, methods and approaches to support social emotional development.

Understand how human behavior is shaped by early childhood emotional and social conditioning
Understand the genetic factors influencing social and emotional development
