OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

| Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to provide information on learning the general pathological changes that cause disease in the living organism at the cellular level, evaluating the formation (pathogenesis) and causes of these pathological changes, recognizing macroscopic changes occurring in tissues and organs, and understanding microscopic changes. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | Introduction to pathology and basic concepts; pathological changes at the cellular level; inflammation and immune response; circulatory disorders and their consequences; tissue healing and repair processes; neoplasms (tumors); pathologies according to organ systems; inflammation; healing and transplantation; causes of disease; immunopathology; and developmental disorders. |
