| Objectives of the Course Unit: | It is aimed to provide information, attitude, and skills on the electrophysical principles of electrotherapy; the examination of tissue responses to electrotherapy modalities commonly used in physiotherapy; and learning the mechanisms of action and application methods of low-, medium-, and high-frequency currents. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | Shortwave diathermy, microwave diathermy, ultrasound, biofeedback, magnetotherapy, microcurrent, high-voltage pulsed current, extracorporeal shock wave therapy, traction, ultra-reiz current, and electrotherapy applications in rheumatic, orthopedic, and neurological diseases. |
