OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to enable students to analyze public relations and their campaigns with the help of current or past events.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the analysis of practices of private companies, unions, municipalities, non-governmental organizations, hospitals, media and public institutions, discussion of rights and wrongs in past public relations practices, explanation of the importance of strategic planning, sampling of use of areas where public relations interact in campaigns.

List completely all the steps of public relations practices
Tell the relationship between public relations campaigns and media through case studies
List the steps in public relations practices
Summarize the effectiveness of practices by reviewing important sample practices in the history of public relations
Explain the importance of the target audience in public relations campaigns through a case study
Explain the importance of strategic planning through case studies
List at least 3 of the features that public relations campaigns should have
Analyze the failings in public relations campaigns through case studies
