OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
The aim of this course is to explain the classification of rheumatic diseases, clinical findings, pain, inflammation, major laboratory findings, general principles in evaluation, treatment and rehabilitation. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Age-related skeletal system changes, osteoporosis and fractures in the elderly, collagen tissue diseases, rheumatoid arthritis, low back pain, ankylosing spondylitis, gout disease, osteoarthritis, tendinitis, bursitis, foot problems, chronic fatigue syndrome, ache, classification of rheumatic diseases, definitions, physiotherapy in rheumatic diseases, evaluation methods and current rehabilitation approaches. |
