OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students gain the ability and knowledge to apply the techniques for show gymnastics at an advanced level, to teach the basic skills for the branch and to prepare the training program specific for Show Gymnastics.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; walking and step forms, basic running forms, flexibility movements, balance postures, body waves and pitches, turns, jumps, strength based studies, arrays, lifts, pair or group choreography exercises, special teaching methods, examination and preparation of training programs.

Describe the contest rules of show gymnastics.
Use materials specific for show gymnastics.
Apply the show gymnastics techniques at an advanced level.
Teach basic skills for show gymnastics.
Evaluate the fitness of the content of the program by examining the training programs specific to Show gymnastics.
Prepare training program specific for the branch.
