OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is help students gain the ability to teach basic skills of diving techniques, to practice diving and scuba diving techniques on water surface and to organize diving activities.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; history of diving, underwater language, physical principles in underwater, ABC and SCUBA equipment, instrumental diving technique, safe diving rules, diving related diseases, advanced diving applications, boat diving, current diving, search and rescue diving, sampling methods in diving and use of underwater imaging systems.

Describe the competencies of the diver's statues at different levels.
Explain the methods of selecting and preservation of diving area.
Teach basic diving techniques.
