OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the knowledge and skills to make applications related to news preparation including the subjects in sports field by taking the national and international media organizations as an example.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the Course include; History and concepts of Turkish sports media, mass media, problems of Turkish sports media, examination of national and international media organizations.

Tell the historical development of the sports media.
Recognize national and international media organizations.
Discuss sports-media relations.
Use communication skills in sports media.
Taking national and international media organizations as an example, apply news preparation for subjects related with sports.
