OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |

Objectives of the Course Unit: | Objective of the course is to help students gain the knowledge and skills to apply the advanced skiing techniques and skills to prepare the training program about the skiing techniques on different snow surfaces. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include general descriptions about the course, sports physiology in Skiing, special training knowledge, first aid, athlete nutrition, athlete health, athlete psychology, different skiing techniques in steep sloped and maintained tracks, maintenance of skiing equipment, downhill skiing, brake exercise, simple turn, snow plow , snow plow turn, basic parallel turn, slope skiing, side skiing, mountain turn, steep slope runway practices, deep snow- abundant snow practices and skiing on steep sloped icy surfaces. |
