OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the students with the basic knowledge about photography and cameras and to provide them with the skills of lighting and lighting techniques for the artistic creation of photography.
Contents of the Course Unit: The contents of the course include the subjects such as history of photography, camera structure and types, use and techniques of digital cameras, rules of composition in photography; types of light (key light, fill light, backlight, natural light) and correct use of light.

Know the history and technology of camera, and main differences between cameras.
Distinguish photographic techniques and lens skills.
Explain the knowledge of lighting tools and techniques.
Adapt the composition knowledge for artistic creation.
