Content: | The course content covers topics ranging from ancient times, including primitive structures and construction techniques following the transition to settled life, Ancient Mesopotamia and Egypt, Ancient Greece and Rome, Islamic and Turkish Architecture, Early Christian Architecture and Byzantium, Islamic Architecture and Asia, Late Medieval Gothic, Renaissance, Baroque and Rococo, England, the Industrial Revolution, and 19th-century aesthetic movements. |
