Objectives and Contents

Objectives: This course aims to enable students to learn about the normal functioning mechanisms of the human body, from cells to organs and the human being as a whole, and the relationships between these mechanisms. It also aims to provide them with knowledge and skills regarding the anatomical structures that constitute the basic structure of the human body, their characteristics, location, and relationships.
Content: The aim is to impart fundamental knowledge and terminology related to the anatomy and physiological functioning of the human body to students. The human body works to maintain its vitality in a certain balance, even when subjected to changes in its internal and external environment. Based on the concept of homeostatics, which describes this balance system, the working principles and relationships of organs and systems such as the nervous system, musculoskeletal system, cardiovascular system, respiratory system, gastrointestinal system, urinary system, genital system, and sensory organs are explained.
