| Objectives: |
The aim is to teach students the basic concepts, development, and role of consultation and teleconsultation within the healthcare system; to raise awareness of patient confidentiality, ethical principles, and secure electronic signature practices in teleconsultation processes; to provide knowledge about the establishment of teleconsultation systems, data security, recording, and archiving procedures; and to enhance their professional knowledge and skills by enabling them to gain hands-on experience with physician–physician and physician–patient teleconsultation practices in a laboratory setting. |

Within the scope of the course, the definition, development, and basic concepts of consultation, as well as the role of teleconsultation in the healthcare system, are discussed. Patient confidentiality, ethical principles, and secure electronic signature practices in teleconsultation are examined. |
