Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim is to provide knowledge about fundamental pharmacological concepts, drug preparation, administration and drug interactions, mechanisms of action of drugs, analgesic agents, antimicrobial agents, antidiabetics, chemotherapy and immunosuppressive agents.
Content: This course covers topics such as an introduction to pharmacology, the mechanisms of action of drugs in the body, prescriptions and drug calculations, respiratory system drugs, circulatory system drugs, antihypertensive, antihyperlipidemic and hematopoietic system drugs, central nervous system drugs, autonomic nervous system drugs, digestive system drugs, urinary system drugs, antibiotics and analgesics, endocrine system drugs, chemotherapeutic drugs, autacoids, and drugs for emergency use.
